Flickr.com is a site primarily for posting pictures and has many fine groups encompassing all sorts of interests and avocations.
It is free and easy to get a Flickr account. If you have a Yahoo account, you can use your screen name and password to sign
onto Flickr.com. If not, you can set up your Flickr account by choosing a screen name and password.
There are several very good discussion groups on Flickr and posting pictures is not required, so don't let the lack of
a camera stop you from being a part of a discussion group.
Listed below are two Flickr groups that are wonderful discussion and peer support groups and are a great place to meet
and make friends.
There are literally tens of thousands of pictures posted on Flickr and many of them are very beautiful and/or interesting.
I have over four hundred pictures posted.
Here is the link to get started on Flickr:
This is a discussion and peer support group on Flickr.com for those of us in Columbus, Ohio. Posting pictures is not required
and you can give as much or as little information about yourself as you want. It is helpful, though, to put some information
on your profile page so we know who we are chatting with. This is YOUR group and it's success depends on all of us visiting,
posting, and commenting on other's posts and pictures as much as possible. I am on Flickr several times a day and invite you
to do the same. I will answer all posts and comments and can be contacted privately using Flickrmail.
This is a discussion and peer support group on Flickr.com consisting of those in the US and abroad. It is full of very
warm and helpful people who deal with mental illness of all kinds. There are several hundred members in this group so posts
and comments are usually answered very quickly. Posting pictures is not required here either and I invite you to take part
in the discussions here.
If I can be of any help or if you have questions of any kind, please email me at the link below or leave a message in
the message box. I will get back to you as soon as I receive your note.
This is a site that offers advice and help with issues ranging from automotive to household to hobbies and almost any
